Teak: The characteristics of teak wood make it the preferred one, its fibers are fine with fat, it is very resistant to water and can be found in many areas of Java.
With its natural oils, it is ideal for use in exposed places, it is not afraid of termites or any other pest. It lasts a very long time, even if it is not treated with oil or varnish.
“Bang teak” smooth, greasy and durable;
“Teak Sungu” of black or brownish color;
“Teak of lime” with a rough whitish color.
Teak trees are becoming increasingly rare and expensive.
Jackfruit: Or called “Nangka” this wood is a golden yellow wood with a beautiful grain that compares to the quality of teak wood. It is also used for making musical instrument such as the traditional Indonesian Gamelan. Jacquier wood is widely used in the manufacture of furniture.
Sonokeling: Or called “Rosewood” or “rosewood” often brownish with darker veins, but is in many different shades. All rosewoods are strong and heavy, taking excellent polish, they are also used for making furniture, luxurious flooring and musical instrument. It is also called “rosewood”, but also “rosewood”
It has a strong sweet smell. Most rosewood trees are endangered.
Unlike woods commonly found in Europe or the United States, the exotic woods we use (see below) have many advantages. Indeed, these are IMPUTRESCIBLES, which means that insects and fungi do not attack this kind of wood. NO TREATMENTS ARE NECESSARY. In addition, because of their higher densities, exotic woods are much more resistant. The woods we use are entirely legal.
